Tall Tree Spooked by Ghost - Tickle Feather happened
upon this story by accident.
We were out in the woods
doing a bit of exploring and came across a tree that
appears to not only be gnarled, but also snarled. Just
look at Tree's twisted pie hole to get the full drift
of this mystery story in the making!
We
wondered what on earth could have caused this phenomenon?
What would contort the bark of a tree to display
such fear?
Theory
One: Had
a small boy in uniform violated its bark? We could
detect no visible hack marks to indicate such. No
axe lay about the area, soiled with fresh wood sap from
the tree.
Theory
Two:
Had a hiker with a too-full bladder let loose the juice?
No, for the tree smelled as fresh as a daisy.
Tickle
Feather planned to delve into several more theories
regarding Tree's flustered bark but what we discovered
in our photo lab stopped any further speculation regarding Tree's
look of fear. Peering closely at our untouched
photo, we detected what appears to be a ghost of sorts
holding a lantern of sorts in its slimy little hands.
