A Ghostly

When we
were snapping the shot of Tree, other than the plant
life and wildlife in the area, we could detect no other
living presence.
Is this disturbing form a ghost? We
can think of no other plausible explanation.
And
if we had to guess, it was Ghost's plan to torch Tree
with his trusty little lantern!
Upon further
research, Tickle Feather uncovered even more disturbing
facts concerning the Ghost. It appears that 50-odd
years ago, a hanging occurred on All Hallow's Eve.
 The
crime involved a mysterious man in black named Sparkey
Night who had a fascination with matches. Every
night, Sparkey would torment his family by passing
a load of gas, then lighting up a match - the flames
leaching out and frightening the family.
On All Hallow's
Eve, the family held a Family Conference and decided
to expel Sparkey from the house. As Sparkey ran
into the woods, he was still playing with his matches,
lighting up the area - big and bright. He was
so caught up in his adventure that he didn't see the
tree limb that caught him up to his demise.
A fascinating
story, isn't it? We can only assume that Sparkey
(aka Ghost) blames Tree for his demise and was seeking
vengeance. Lucky for Tree that Tickle Feather arrived
in the ...nick of time.
