A Short Ghost Story
- Act II
"I want your
lure," the sea ghost eased out, the tone riffling through Jared like a
cold knife. "I want your lure," the sea ghost repeated.
Jared trembled,
noting the fish bones laced into his confronter's white garment - a garment
that looked as if it had been stitched from the sails of ship.
"I want your
lure," the sea ghost repeated.
Lure? Jared
had an entire box of lures. But those were the last things on his mind.
And what would a rampant ghost want with his lures?
He shrieked as the
set of cold hands touched his own which were currently pelted with sweat. "Lure,"
the sea ghost insisted.
Jared tried in vain
to pull away. The sea ghost took one of his hands and pulled it to rest
on the tackle box that contained a treasure of lures.

entrance in the wall rather than her. She had a good mind to turn
back and let Frank stand his chances of being sacrificed by the
coven of she-male vampires that inhabited the dungeon of the castle.
