Ghost Stories - Poisoned Ivy Continued

He rounded the grandfather oak, then halted dead in his tracks as a ghostly shell made its way towards him.  Ti gasped, retreated to the beaten path but was cornered as the ghost reappeared in front of him.

"Ahh!  Go away!  Oh!  I'll kill you!" he promised, doubling both fists and bouncing about like an idiot boxer.

He swung, his fist going through the white spirit.  He swung again, and again, and again until he was completely spent, like a goat who'd eaten one too many tin cans.

Breathless, he heaved out as the white smoke bellowed from his mouth as he spoke, "What do you want?  Give me something to work with here!"

His eyes widened as the spirit eased out, "Ivy."

"Hum?"

"Ivy," the spirit echoed once again.

Ti narrowed his eyes through the moonlight and asked, "You want some ivy?"

"No, you idiot.  My name is Ivy," the spirit groaned, then she moaned loudly, the sound almost bursting Ti's eardrums.

"Stop that!!  What a mean bitch ghost you are!" Ti hurled out at her, his fear no where to be found.  "What is wrong with you?  Why don't you go find a nice old house and haunt someone? I am a tired young man who has no patience for a quibbling errant ghost person!"

"Because I've been poisoned," Ivy echoed, her voice eerie and cold.  So cold, she could turn water into ice chips.

"Poisoned?"

"Yes..."

"Hum," Ti eased out, drawing a hand to his chin in deep thought.  He looked at her and quizzed, "Did you eat something laying around here?"  He paused, then added, "You aren't allergic to latex, are you?"
